MARS STUDIO RESIDENCE
REM - CDMX

Estudio Marte is now open for applications for a new edition of its artist residency in Mexico City. This program allows you to support artistic processes in a local and active environment. This year, we offer two participation options: with a workshop and accommodation, or with a workshop only, adapting to the needs of each artist.

GOALS

At Estudio Marte, we seek to encourage artistic experimentation from an autonomous and situated perspective. We promote a relaxed work environment where artists can explore their processes without limitations, fostering the exchange of ideas, techniques, and perspectives in a safe environment. This approach offers opportunities for discussion, studio visits, and peer feedback sessions, which encourage the sharing of knowledge based on experience.

In addition, we offer a personalized mentoring program that connects artists with professionals in contemporary art and cultural management, encouraging mutual learning and networking. We facilitate visibility of the processes developed during the residency through open presentations, exhibitions, and editorial or digital collaborations, supporting each artist in building their portfolio and career.

• Unlimited exploration

We encourage free creative processes, where artists can try new techniques, materials, and approaches outside of their usual routines.

• Peer-to-peer exchange

We create meeting spaces such as workshops, talks, and critique sessions to share perspectives based on experience.

• Personalized mentoring

We connect residents with arts and culture professionals for close support and long-term collaboration networks.

• Tools for your career

We provide practical knowledge in project management, artistic marketing, and professional development.

• Visibility of your process We support the presentation of developed projects through exhibitions, publications, and events open to the public.
